Shah Rafsan Kibria, ACA (Bangladesh), CPA & CA (Canada)

Mr. Rafsan Kibria is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh, obtaining membership from the institute in 2018. Mr. Kibria is also an associate member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario, Canada since 2018. Mr. Kibria completed his CA education at Ernst & Young LLP in Toronto, Canada, where he worked for five (5) years and obtained his professional designation. Mr. Kibria joined the firm in 2018 after moving back to Bangladesh. Mr. Rafsan completed his Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Masters in Management and Public Accounting from the University of Toronto, Canada.
Mr. Rafsan is an expert in Assurance Services, Valuation Services and designing internal procedures and standard operating procedures. Mr. Rafsan is an expert in ISA and IFRS and has given greater emphasis on quality assurance for assurance engagements as well as the firm. In addition, Mr. Rafsan also provides consulting services for IPO clients. Finally, Mr. Rafsan (along with Mr. Shahrear) heads the firm’s bookkeeping and corporate services.
Shahrear Kibria, CFAB(ICAEW),BFP(ICAEW)

Mr. Shahrear Kibria has completed CFAB and BFP under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) in 2019. Mr. Shahrear completed his CA education in London, UK and then moved back to Bangladesh and joined the firm in 2019. Mr. Shahrear completed his Bachelor’s in Business Administration The Toronto Metropolitan University (Formerly Ryerson University) in Toronto, Canada.
Mr. Shahrear is an expert in Assurance Services and Valuation Services and puts significant emphasis on valuation and other advisory services. In addition, Mr. Shahrear leads the majority of the business development activities of the firm. Finally, Mr. Shahrear also provides consulting services for IPO clients. Finally, Mr. Shahrear (along with Mr. Rafsan) heads the firm’s bookkeeping and corporate services.
Hasanur Rahman

Md Hasanur Rahman is a partly qualified Chartered Accountant (Completed 16 courses out of 17) under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh. Now he is working as a Deputy Director of G. KIBRIA & CO. Chartered Accountants.
He has completed his CA Articleship with this firm between July 2011 and June 2014. After completion of Articleship he joined as a manager in this firm in the month of July 2014 and promoted as senior manager in the month of December 2019.
Mr. Rahman’s core working area is Audit & Assurance, but also does consultancy and advisory work. Rahman’s Client Services area includes Financial Reporting, External Audit, Internal Audit, Taxation Services, Secretarial service (including RJSC related work), Assurance Services (including IPO Proceed Utilization Certification, Valuation service, Cash Incentive Certification, Functional Audit etc.).

Mr. Rahman was born in Cumilla district under the Chattogram Division. He completed his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in finance from IBAIS University.
In social life he is a member of Lions Clubs International. He is also the president of Bondhu Manubik Foundation Cumilla and elected assistant finance secretary of Burichang Upazilla Samity Dhaka.
Riaz Hosen, ACA

Md. Riaz Hosen is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the year 2022, having completed his CA articleship between 2016 and 2019 with Syful Shamsul Alam & Co. Chartered Accountants firm. He completed his BBA in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Comilla. Before joining G Kibria & Co., Mr. Riaz worked at Orion Group and Ejab Group.
Mr. Riaz is currently serving as an Audit & Assurance director, while also being involved in consultancy and advisory work. His Client Services area includes Financial Reporting, Audit and Assurance, Internal Audit, Review engagement and other services.

Md. Al Mamun

Md. Al-Mamun is one subject (100 marks) away to become an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He has completed his CA articleship from A.Wahab & Co. Chartered Accountants. He is an Income Tax Practitioner (ITP) from National Board of Revenue. Mr. Mamun completed his Post-graduation from University of Dhaka.
Md. Al-Mamun is currently working as a Senior Manager in Assurance and Advisory Department of G.Kibria & Co, Chartered Accountants. He previously worked as a Senior Assistant Manager in Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Co, Chartered Accountants. He has extensive working experience in SAP, ERP, and Oracle environment. His assurance works include FMCGs, banks, Financial Institutions, Insurance, Pharmaceuticals, Telecoms, Banks, Microfinance (PKSF), large-scale NGOs, International Development Organizations, Trading, etc.
His advisory work includes Special Internal Auditing, Business Valuation, Merger& Acquisition, BPO, Organizational Financial System Review, Business process design, Fixed Asset Revaluation, financial management training, regulatory compliances & tax advice.
